This month's Life Skill is TEAMWORK: working together; doing something together that we can't do alone. Check out the infographic below to find out how we help teach the kids teamwork and what benefits martial arts offer that team sports don't.
What are some other ways to help teach your children teamwork?
-Have your kids work together on a project at home! It could be as small as tidying up or even an art project. Whatever it is, make sure they are working together.
-Games can help inspire team work. Whether they are teaming up with friends, siblings, or parents, it can be really fun to play together, young and old. Just make sure they don't get too competitive.
-Teams. Being excluded from a team can be really upsetting. Make sure your they understand this and doesn't exclude others.

Great place to start learning BJJ.
Peak has excellent coaches and great training partners. Give it a try if you are in the area
Peak has a great atmosphere full of wonderful teammates. No matter what your current fitness level and goals are, you will have support for your work and progress. I've been going to Peak, on and off, for 7 years. The on times make all of life night-and-day better than the off times. I've taken BJJ, Muay Thai, and fitness classes; you can't go wrong. Highly recommended - come see for yourself.
