This month's life skill is RESPECT: a feeling or understanding that someone or something is important, serious, etc, and should be treated in an appropriate way.
What are some ways to show respect?
-Being polite and having manners
I.e. Saying yes ma'am/sir and no ma'am/sir, saying please/thank you, opening the door for someone, etc...
-Paying attention when someone is talking to you
Making sure that you are listening and have good eye contact
-Asking permission for things
Asking instead of just taking. I.e. can I play with your toys, can I please have _______, can I borrow______, etc...

Great place to start learning BJJ.
Peak has excellent coaches and great training partners. Give it a try if you are in the area
Peak has a great atmosphere full of wonderful teammates. No matter what your current fitness level and goals are, you will have support for your work and progress. I've been going to Peak, on and off, for 7 years. The on times make all of life night-and-day better than the off times. I've taken BJJ, Muay Thai, and fitness classes; you can't go wrong. Highly recommended - come see for yourself.
